Default Hero's view points

In a situation where player's character is dead, and players is flagging Heroes/Hench around to avoid combat until they are heal, to attempt a rescue operation. In time like this players (me) ofter would click on the hero/hence that players (I) are/am flagging around.

While we are on the Heroes/Hench point of view, how come we can't see the enemies. Which defeat the purpose of having let players ability to flag the heroes/hench, if while in the heroes point of view you cannot know where the enemies are, how can you attempt a rescue operation?

I am not sure if this is a bug or should go under a suggestion.

I choose suggestion because I don't think its a bug.

So can it please be change? So that when our characters are dead and are operating in the hero's point of view, we may see what the heroes see.

I thought this was a bug. Besides, if you look from your viewpoint, you can see where everyone/thing is, despite being dead, which I'd say is an issue. Doesn't make much sense tbh.

I'm in favour of fixing this.

Well henchys/heros dont spawn unspawned enemys (why the UA hero runner worked) but if they are already spawned....Yeah fix it its annoying to run to rez your guy only to find 50 enemys when your right there.

They do see enemies but they have much smaller radar range. I think it was done this way to avoid situation in which heroes/henchies run through whole screen cause the red dot appeared close to radar. So instead of fixing AI they were hmm blinded a bit. If their sight increases I am not sure how will they react but I am afraid we will have over-aggroing heroes problem again.

I wish their line of sight was increased just a little. I think there are times when I will be fighting and attacking something just out of my bubble, but some of my heroes don't want to react, and it may be because they don't see what I'm attacking.

It can be annoying to try to maneuver a hero close to the enemy and walls and don't see a normal view from their perspective to come and rez you.

on a side note I was just thinking does having them on avoid combat narrow their view and have them on aggressive widen? Haven't tested it.

I've noticed this, and it is annoying. I think it's just that their radar is a lot smaller than a player's, and they can't see anything out of it. Which also causes them to not attack an enemy if I'm standing back casting, unless I flag them ahead or run up to the enemy. Annoying, yes.

Ive had that problem as well, especially on my ranger. To start the battle I have to swap to a short bow just to get the heros to go in, then swap back to my regular bow. Quite annoying.
